Eurowings Airlines Reservations
Eurowings is a low-cost airline with headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany. The airline is fully owned by the Lufthansa Group and currently serves 79 destinations using its fleet of 105 aircraft. The airline was founded in 1996 to offer a low-cost airline alternative to major airlines operating in Germany. It has schedules flight services to domestic and overseas destinations with bases at Berlin Tegel Airport, Düsseldorf Airport, Cologne Bonn Airport, Vienna International Airport and Hamburg Airport.
Eurowings was part of Lufthansa Regional till October 2014, operating on behalf of Germanwings. From spring 2015 onwards, it has been redeveloped as a budget airline for short- as well as long-haul flights. Eurowings has signed codeshare agreements with Air Canada, All Nippon Airways, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, TUI fly Deutschland and United Airlines. It uses Miles & More, the loyalty points program of Lufthansa, to allow frequent passengers to earn and redeem flying points.
Eurowings Check-In
To avoid serpentine queues at airport terminals, you may opt for online check-in option at the airline’s website. The online check-in begins 72 hours before the scheduled departure where you just need to enter the required details and choose your seats. You may then go on to print your boarding pass or simply save it in your phone (for mobile check-in). This online check-in facility closes three hours prior to the flight departure time.
